Dan Volitich, President & Founder

Dan Volitich is president and owner of John Daniel Associates, which he co-founded in 1996 to serve the Business Intelligence Market. Dan's extensive experience with Business Intelligence (BI) began in the mid 80's (before the market coined BI) at Smithy Braedon, a commercial real estate firm in Fairfax, VA. As Smithy Braedons' IT Director, he successfully delivered Enterprise Business Intelligence solutions, streamlining mission-critical business functions for every department in the company.

Upon his return to Pittsburgh in the early 90's, Dan again found himself chartered with empowering end users while at Education Management Corp. and Multiview Corp. Dan's background has given him tremendous insight into the value of empowering end-users with business critical data; it is that insight which is invaluable in the delivery of BI solutions to John Daniel clients today.

With over 26 years of experience in planning and delivering successful Business Intelligence solutions to Fortune and mid-market companies, Dan believes superior product knowledge and outstanding customer support are essential components to maintain a leadership role in the BI market. That combination has been a significant factor in the continued and profitable growth of John Daniel Associates. Dan is a Penn State Graduate with a BS degree in Accounting with heavy emphasis in IT.

Janet Amos-Pribanic, Chief Operating Officer

Janet has more than 24 years of experience in delivering Information Technology (IT) solutions. Janet has been with John Daniel Associates since 1999, and her background reflects successful sales of Information Technology solutions to the mid-market and Fortune 500 accounts

She has helped position John Daniel Associates as a leader in CPM (Corporate Performance Management) delivery, including data mart design and implementation. She initiated the VantagePoint methodology at John Daniel Associates, a business solution that has yielded significant benefit for many John Daniel Associates' clients. VantagePoint incorporates best-practice deployment with client requirements to enable successful business information delivery.

John Daniel Associates has been a Pinnacle or Platinum award recipient since 2000, and in June of 2006 was selected among top Cognos partners as a North American Professional Services Partner member.
